What are ARCO Rights?

ARCO Rights are the legal mechanism that allows you to exercise your Drights of AAccess, Rrectification, Ccancellation and Oposition, which consist of:

  • Access personal data, exclusively yours, unless you are a legal representative or guardian of another owner and that are under our treatment
  • Request that we make corrections or updates to your personal data
  • Request that we delete your personal data, when this is legally appropriate
  • Oppose the realization of the primary purposes established in this Privacy Notice - in which case, we will be prevented from providing specific services that relate to the purpose to which you object
  • Request your opposition to the achievement of the indicated secondary purposes
  • Request that your personal data not be transferred to third parties

Means to exercise ARCO Rights

For you to exercise any of your ARCO rights, you must do so in a personal way following the procedure indicated in the “Procedure for exercising ARCO Rights” section of this Notice.

Procedure for exercising ARCO Rights

For you to exercise any of your ARCO rights, you must do so personally in accordance with the procedure detailed in this section.

The owner of the personal data must request at Carretera México-Pachuca KM 12.5, Colonia Rústica Xalostoc, Ecatepec de Morelos, State of Mexico, Zip Code 55340 or at the representative offices of Grupo Jumex in the Mexican Republic the form of requesting assistance to ARCO Rights during business hours from Monday to Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., or request it via email to the address privacidad@jumex.com.mx, the request form must be filled out by machine or template, additional information will be requested:

  • Current official identification, which must be presented in original and copy for comparison. If your request is sent electronically, you must attach your scanned identification showing your photo, full name, identification number and signature
  • If you are not the owner of the personal data, you must attach the document that accredits you as a legal representative (Power of Attorney to the Public Notary or Birth Certificate in the case of minors represented by a father, mother or guardian)
  • If you request changes resulting from corrections or updates, you must submit the legal document that proves this fact
  • Autograph signature, which must match the official identification you present to carry out the procedure.

No more than 5 business days after receiving your request, if there is a question or if we require more information about your request, we will contact you in order to communicate this situation and obtain more information from you regarding the request. The response to our request must be made within a period not exceeding 10 business days.

No more than 20 business days after receiving your request, or after having answered the clarifications requested by us, we will contact you in order to communicate the response to your request, this response will be delivered personally to our home or to the representative office of Grupo Jumex where you submitted your request, with the accreditation of the owner or his representative, or, where appropriate, in the email indicated in your original request.

In order to provide legal certainty to the owner of the personal data and to us as Data Controller, if the Owner makes his request for ARCO Rights via email, this must be communicated from a personal email account that has been previously registered in our databases, in this case the one he has granted in his role as a customer of Grupo Jumex.

Unless you exercise any of your Rights of Access, Rectification, Cancellation or Opposition (ARCO), limit the use or revoke your consent to the processing of your personal data, we consider that you accept the provisions of this Comprehensive Privacy Notice.

Mechanism for revoking the consent granted for the Processing of your Personal Data

If you want to revoke your consent to the processing of your personal data, you must perform the same procedure as established in the “Rights of Access, Rectification, Cancellation and Opposition (ARCO)” section.

Your request will be subject to review by our Privacy Department; if a legal exception is not complied with or there is no legal provision that requires us to process your personal data, your request will be appropriate and you will be informed of the decision within 10 business days.

Limitation on Use and Disclosure of Personal Data

For the case of our End Consumers, at any time you have the option of limiting the use and/or disclosure of personal data by submitting a free letter to the address indicated above and addressed to the Privacy Department, stating in your request the extent of the limitation to the use or disclosure that you want to establish, accompanied by a simple copy of your official identification and you must present it in original at the time of submitting your letter.

Your request will be subject to review by our Privacy Department; if a legal exception is not complied with or there is no legal provision that requires us to process your personal data, your request will be appropriate and you will be informed of the decision within 10 business days

For Business Topics

Visit the website of the Federal Consumer Attorney's Office where the Public Consumer Registry (RPC) provided for in the Federal Consumer Protection Act is available, where you will decide on the use of your personal data in the commercial, tourism and telecommunications sectors.

Competent authority
