Jumex Group was recognized as one of the 100 most responsible companies by Merco

Grupo Jumex was recognized by Merco as one of the 100 most responsible companies in Mexico in 2021, in terms of ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance).

Merco is a global evaluation that integrates the perception and evaluation of eleven sources of information with the reality of the merits of environmental, social and ethical and governance responsibility. This year, Merco Responsibility and Corporate Governance has Evolved a Merco ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) Responsibility, an increasingly generalized concept that has been incorporated into the structure of information collection and analysis.

This recognition highlights Grupo Jumex's commitment to contributing in a positive way to the community and its environment.

The more than 100 companies from different industries were evaluated by the perception and evaluation of managers of large companies and experts in social responsibility, who considered that a company is responsible and has good corporate governance, if it has: Good ethical behavior, transparency and good governance,
Responsibility to employees, Commitment to the environment and climate change and Contributing to the community.

Companies recognized for contributing to the communities where they operate are considered competitive companies, which reflect strength in the Mexican market and a commitment to social responsibility through their actions.

With this recognition, Grupo Jumex reaffirms its commitment to the vision of social responsibility and sustainability that has been consolidated into the Company for six decades.
