Jumex Group Mourns the Loss of Don Eugenio López Rodea

Grupo Jumex reports with great sadness the irreparable loss of its founder Don Eugenio López Rodea, who died today in Mexico City at 87 years of age.

Don Eugenio López Rodea was a Mexican businessman distinguished by his human quality, leadership, great vision of the future and love for Mexico. His passion for innovation and quality led him to create, in 1961, one of the brands preferred by Mexicans: Jumex.

With remarkable discipline, Don Eugenio consolidated Grupo Jumex as the most important processor of juices and nectars, not only in Mexico, but also in the United States of America.

As a result of his perseverance and personal demand, Don Eugenio managed to develop iconic products in our country that are recognized and loved worldwide.

He will always be remembered as an exceptional man, for his leadership and commitment to Mexico. His concern and generosity with the people around him are an example of life. Don Eugenio López Rodea has been, and will continue to be, an inspiration to all of us.
